Save Money at the Kentucky State Fair on $5 Monday

WHAT
Monday, August 22 – $5 Monday at the Kentucky State Fair
New this year! Avoid the Monday blues with a visit to Kentucky’s favorite summertime festival, the Kentucky State Fair. Admission is $5 per person and includes parking. Fairgoers can watch the glitz and glamour of the evening performances of the World’s Championship Horse Show for free on Aug. 22. Complimentary horse show tickets must be picked up at the Kentucky Exposition Center Box Office on the day of the show.

NOTE: Monday is a changeover day where livestock is not present in the West portion of the building. For animal lovers, Discovery Farm has examples of all the types of livestock on display. The addition of the evening performance of the World’s Championship Horse Show with each Fair admission is an $8 added value.

NEW POLICY
New this year: admission to the Fair ends one hour before the outdoor closing time each day.

OTHER POLICIES
Hours of operation are subject to weather conditions. Midway ride wristband sales end one hour before closing time. Ride ticket sales end 30 minutes before closing time each day. Fairgoers under 18 years old entering after 6 p.m. must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian 21 years of age or older. Proof of age is required. IDs will be verified at the gate.
