The Kentucky State Fair Partners with Kentucky 4-H Foundation, Danny Wimmer Presents and country star T. Graham Brown for Eastern Kentucky Flood Relief

As where Kentucky comes together, the Kentucky State Fair stands together to support Eastern Kentucky after the unprecedented floods. The Kentucky State Fair is partnering with Danny Wimmer Presents, country star T. Graham Brown and the Kentucky 4-H Foundation to help raise money for Eastern Kentucky flood relief.
“The destruction in Eastern Kentucky is hard to fathom. As an organization built to recognize, celebrate and serve all Kentuckians, we feel it is our duty to support our Eastern Kentucky counties as they begin the long road to recovery after this disaster. It is important not only as a state fair but as Kentuckians,” said David S. Beck, President and CEO. “We’re grateful Danny Wimmer presents, the Kentucky 4-H Foundation, T. Graham Brown and many of our fairgoers have stepped up for Eastern Kentucky.”
ENTER GIVEAWAY TO WIN BEYOND VIP PASSES
Bourbon and Beyond and the Kentucky State Fair have partnered with the 4-H Foundation to give away a pair of sold-out Beyond VIP passes for Bourbon & Beyond, held in Louisville on September 15-18. Donate to flood relief to be entered online at www.kystatefair.org/easternKY. All proceeds from the raffle will go directly to the Kentucky 4-H Relief Fund to support flood victims.
The Kentucky 4-H Foundation 4-H’ers Helping 4-H’ers Relief Fund was created to provide emergency relief to 4-H’ers and their families who were affected by both the floods and tornadoes in Kentucky.
The winner will be drawn on August 27 around 8:45 p.m. at the Texas Roadhouse Concert Series between the Alex Miller and Niko Moon performances.
BUY A T-SHIRT TO SUPPORT EASTERN KENTUCKIANS
Country artist T. Graham Brown, who performed last year at the Kentucky State Fair, is working with this year’s performers to sell an exclusive Kentucky Strong ‘Come Hell or High Water’ t-shirt at this year’s Texas Roadhouse Concert Series. The t-shirts are $25 per person and 100% of the proceeds benefit flood relief.
“We had a big flood in Nashville several years back that was awful, so I had an idea of what our neighbors to the north were dealing with. We took my bus full of supplies up there the week after it happened and saw the devastation first hand. It was way worse than what you see on TV. We knew we had to do something that would be impactful so we created the shirt bearing lyrics from my first No. 1 hit ‘Hell and High Water’ and launched our Kentucky Strong campaign,” said T. Graham Brown.
The 2022 Kentucky State Fair is Aug. 18-28 at the Kentucky Exposition Center.
